Although I detest cars and try to avoid anything to do with the subject as I fail to comprehend why guys fawn over cars that can never afford in future, I will try to relate my opinion to he best of my capabilities. Well Hydrogen cars on the upper hand, may be a fuel alternative to replace gasoline in future and may very well be the perfect energy source in future. However, I presume that it will consume a couple of extra years before hydrogen cars will be implemented in daily use. Get real!! Nobody wants to drive a car on the streets where a light spark could send your car blown to smithereens. Hydrogen, energy efficient and environmental friendly as it may be, still needs work by the part of engineers to try to develop a concise situation which involves precaution factors and costs reductions. Millions might be spent on an investment that could opt out to be a fiasco but otherwise, yer guys out there, gorge your eyes out when the latest hydrogen car model is made convenient for public use.
To be honest, I did not know anything about the advance technology of the Hydrogen cars until now. I read the information about the Hydrogen cars and I think the invention might be a great solution to replace the fossil fuels in the future. It can be made from both renewable and non-renewable energy sources, such as solar, water, wind, and nuclear power. For that reason, we can produce and consume it continuously without having to concern that the energy sources will be finished some time in the future. Unlike the traditional gasoline internal combustion engine car, the hydrogen car uses oxygen to generate water vapor as exhaust. Thus, it will produce less CO2 and contribute less to atmospheric radiation. Although the usage of solar energy as the fuel energy can be up to four times higher than the fossil fuels, but I think it is worth it, considering the effect it will make to our environment. In my opinion, the development of Hydrogen car is very beneficial to the society. We just have to continue the research of the technology, so that our people can start to utilize it. That way, we can reduce the air pollution as early as possible.
I agree with everybody before me. Hydrogen could – and hopefully will – become a replacement for commercial gasoline. Advantages are not unlimited, though. I see two: the reduction of pollution and unlimited resources. First, as everybody will agree, water is available in abundance. No doubt this IS an advantage of this new technology. Secondly, there’s the pollution factor. Yes, a H2 powered car may not exhaust CO2, as diesel and gasoline engines do, but right now the production of hydrogen is definitely not green. An effective way of producing the fuel is yet to be found and I don’t see it coming in the near future. There may be one environmentalist among a hundred businessmen, but is that enough? As long as there is no opportunity to make money, there is nobody creating the expensive infrastructure. And there is no opportunity, for there are not even affordable cars yet! BMW may launch a marketing campaign promoting the use of their hydrogen sedan. Evan though, as long as there are no fueling stations, reduced mileage and even risks of explosion who in his or her right mind would pay twice the regular price to get one? Only extensive collaboration and expenditures will expedite the transition to a green future. I just don’t see an acute need to speed things up. Progress will happen anyway.
I used to think of hydrogen cars as the cars of the future. I did not think that our generation would be able to see them; however, after reading the articles on this topic, I realized that we hopefully will see them and possibly drive them. I think using hydrogen as an energy supply for cars is a great idea and I have no doubt that it will succeed. I do not know if it will replace gasoline for car usage in the near future, but I know that eventually it will. This invention is still in progress and as every invention does, this one needs support and funding too. Even though it is a great idea, for it to succeed, people have to help out. It is not in the hands of the company that is working on this technology; in fact, if people provide the company money, the progress will be faster and for the good of humankind. Hydrogen cars will not cause air pollution, which will result in the favor of the earth and its residents. On the other hand, I believe the technology of fuel cells will work out to be more beneficial as it advances, because this technology is as clean as hydrogen technology and it has the advantage of owners being able to recharge their cars themselves. In conclusion, I believe that the technology of hydrogen and fuel cell cars will eventually complete their progress and will be available for common usage.
to be honest, before today i thought Hudrogen cars are way so better than gasoline ones because I had studied this subject in high school chemistry course. It goes like gasoline ones produce carbon dioxide and hydrogen ones produce water only..
to use hydrogen as an alternative to gasoline is undoubltly a good idea either to the enironment or considering the energy sources. it can be good scientificly but not in our daily life till now. yes, hydrogen cars are more expensive than ordinary ones since it is high-tech so obviously people will choose the mature and comparatively cheap way..the gasoline cars. then hydrogen in the cars are not stable, it is easy to course fire when a light spark goes.
i have no idea what i will choose between the two because i don't want to damage the environment and i definitely don't want to destroy myself. maybe one day the technology of hydrogen cars goes as mature as gasoline cars and the scientists find a way to make H2 stable, i will choose to protect our environment. so i am kind of support the development of hydrogen cars
Nowadays, almost everyone has a car. To operate a car, we need fuel. The most common fuel that people use is gasoline. However, gasoline is a limited resource. Sooner or later, there will not be enough gasoline to satisfy the huge number of cars in this world. Due to this fact, I think we have to find an alternate fuel. I agree that using hydrogen as a fuel can solve this problem since hydrogen can be obtain from water which made up two third of the earth. Therefore, hydrogen should satisfy all of humans’ demand for fuel. Another important thing that we should be concerned about is the pollution produced by using gasoline. The gas that is produced by cars that use gasoline will contaminate the air, which is harmful to our health. By using hydrogen as a fuel, there will be less pollution produced, creating a safer environment for us. In order to make this process of replacing gasoline with hydrogen successful, it may cost a lot. Considering the two advantages stated above, the extra cost is worth it.
Today's hydrogen cars are just a glimpse of what the future holds.
Man is an animal that has survived through ages by adaptation and a presence of constant innovation. Earlier we had vehicles using leaded petroleum, it was found that leaded petroleum harmed the environment. Later on unleaded petroleum was introduced to cut back on pollution. Then we had the Europeans come up with Euro 1 and Euro 2 vehicles that cut back pollution even more than previous vehicles.
In this same manner hydrogen cars are going to be developed better. More initiatives by car manufacturers and the dedicated efforts of the numerous scientists doing research in this area will be a boon to the Earth, and cut down the usage of fossil fuels.
I agree with everything that has been said before me. Hydrogen cars are the way of the future. We have to depend from oil a lot less. The world has become an oil addict. Especially the U.S. The United States consumes 30% of the worlds oil while only producing 3. A lot of things are at stake, not just driving cool cars. Global warming is an important, if not, immediate issue that has to be dealt with. Polititians and environmentalists are doing all they can but the majority of the people simply does not care. So, hydrogen cars is a great first step. I thought they would be something of a distant future, But after some of the articles I read, I am hoping I will get to drive one soon. Hydrogen cars will reduce pollution and decreace our oil dependance. It is imperative that we start thinking about the generations to come.
