A. My favorite moment in the movie was the moment when Jamal and Malik were young, and they had, Amitabh, the famous Bollywood actor come to their small town, and Jamal has the “unfortunate” incident. I really liked the part after he got the autograph. Because the scene gave a very good reflection on who the characters are. I also felt the scene was very pure and innocent. Another part I liked was the part where Malik saves his brother from getting his eyes gouged out.
B. What was cool, I read that Mercedes-Benz has asked the producers to take out all their logos from the cars in the scenes. Because they did not want to be associated with the “poverty-stricken area.” They feared it might affect its image. (URL: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1010048/trivia)

This movie is a unique one and this movie won the academy award because of their fairy tale story about a slum orphan boy who join “who wants to be a millionaire” quiz and won the game after answer question after question. This movie takes place in Mumbai, Indiana. And I’m really interested with the way this movie connects each part in the movie into one flowchart story. I like the one when he use “ ask a friend” help method in the quiz to call a girl that he already admire. This movie shows us and the director can show the evolution of the city from child eyes. This movie can put together almost every aspects that we need in the movie such as love, happiness, sadness, curiosity, and still many other aspects. I give this movie two thumbs up and I believe this movie is the best candidate to won the academy award

I've seen this movie for the fourth time now and I still couldn't figure out which moment to judge as my favorite. Although, after watching it that many times I do feel that the whole concept was a bit over-rated when seen from a sensible point of view, this is the way things work there. But still, for the laughs, I'ld say, my favorite part of the movie was when the two brothers were on the train and they try to steal food through the windows by hanging out from the top. Another part that really made me laugh was when they bring the car apart being tourist guides. That was really smart for their ages.

A cool fact that I found about this movie is that, the excreta Jamal jumps into was made from peanut butter and chocolate. Never thought I'ld associate the three words : excreta, peanut butter and chocolate, altogether; especially when the last two are some of my favorites.

A really good movie. My favorite scene would be when Salim actually gave the car key to Latika, sacrificing himself for his brother's sake, and perhaps for atonement of what Salim has done all this while to both Jamal and Latika. For me the movie teaches me a lesson, that we have to be honest in what we are doing, and stick to what we believe is right. Although it is just a fictional story, Jamal showed it, even though through hardship, he did not fall into his brother's way of doing things the easy path. Yes, there is some parts of the movie, showing how cunning these two brothers can be, such as stealing the shoes in Taj Mahal and selling them for their own profit and lying to the foreign visitors in Taj Mahal, but mistakes like this is excusable in their life, seeing it is crucial for their own survival. Even people from a slump can survive and be successful like Jamal, we can do so, if we live life to our fullest.

The moment which gives me the deepest impression is Jamal and Salim living on the train. That is the only period that these brothers can get on well with each other. They don’t have parents or friends, which is quite lonely. After they escaping from the dark place, without money and food, they start a life like Bohemians. However, they live interdependently, selling food, balloons and fruits. Finally, they survived. From the life in this period, I deeply feel the power of family love. These two brothers have never stopped fighting, but every audience can clearly feel the family love of them. It is one of the most cheerful part in the whole movie.

Astonishing! There is an argument for the payment of the children actors. According to the UK newspaper, the child actors only got very low paid for their work. The child who play Jamal as a child was paid £700 for his job. And some of the child actors are still living in the slums. While On 26 January 2009 Danny Boyle (director) and Christian Colson (producer) released a written statement saying that they have set up a trust funds for Rubina and Azharuddin and paid for their education. No matter what is the truth, there are thousands of children in the slums of India that suffer from starvation. The whole society should act to help them not only the child actors.

It was a great movie with a very interesting storyline. I would never have thought of such a scenario where a poor boy won a large amount money. It was a joy to watch. It had many gut wrenching moments which kept the movie interesting to watch. My favorite moment was when the story of his mother's murder and what happened was revealed. It was a touching moment.

Although i have to admit, this movie was a little over-rated. I guess that many people pitied and was moved by the story but it was only the strange scenario which made the movie popular. However all in all, this was a great movie.

Winning a academy award is one of the biggest achievements that a movie can receive. This movie has received such great award. I think it's because of its story instead of best actors or its scale. The most favorite moment for me in this movie was the moment when he solved questions, which most of others who are more educated and wealthier could not solve. At the same type the moment that was most sad and made me angry was the scene Jamal got arrested only because of the fact that he was able to solve questions that others who are wealthier, more educated people couldn't solve. People often judge other people only by their appearance and competence. One thing that I learned from this movie was not to judge a book by its cover

My favorite part of this movie is when jamal and malik escaped from maman. I was horrified when maman teaches poor chilrens songs and makes them blinds. I was very worried that jamal was going to be blind. I felt very relieved when they escaped from maman.

The interesting fact I found is that the local authorities gave these poor children and families new home. I felt really bad when I was watching these movies because the slum was really in bad condition and there were too many people. I was really happy when I found this.

A. my favorite moment is when Jamal has to make a phone call for the answer of the mosquetere, calling his brother an suddenly Latika answers, and I looked in the internet that he says "im yours" in unsubtitled indi. This was when he reconnected with her and was a very deep moment.
B Something interesting about the movie is that following its realese in india, the movie faced critisim becuase people said its fueled with western stereotypes about poverty in india and that it peddles "poverty porn". Interesting fact.

Movie itself was grate. Oscar made perfect choice. Slumdog Millionaire 's title is pretty much self explanatory, but screens showed me much more than that. Joining quiz show without proper education, and winning could be a boring story. however, scenario was tight. My personal favorite was phone call during the quiz.

since this movie, Bullywood got spot light. they produced more movies than Hollywood but their movies are known as 3rd party movies. but since this movie view of the Bullywood will change
